Progressive Die Metal Stamping

Progressive Die Metal Stamping (or Progressive Tool Stamping) is more than just a technique; it is a leap forward in the realm of manufacturing possibilities. It enables Ward to transform raw materials into intricate components with unrivaled speed, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. Progressive Tool Stamping employs a series of precisely engineered working stations, strategically positioned along a singular die set. Each station performs a specific operation on the material as it progresses through the machine, resulting in a finished part at the end of the line. From cutting and bending to forming and piercing, the process seamlessly executes multiple operations in a single pass.

UNMATCHED PRECISION
With Progressive Tool Stamping, precision is the name of the game. The automated nature of the process ensures consistent accuracy, tight tolerances, and exceptional repeatability, even for the most complex part geometries.

ENHANCED EFFICIENCY
Time is money in the manufacturing world, and Progressive Tool Stamping saves both. By consolidating multiple operations into a single pass, production time is significantly reduced. This streamlined approach boosts productivity, accelerates time-to-market, and maximizes your return on investment.

DESIGN FREEDOM
Progressive Tool Stamping empowers engineers and designers with unparalleled design freedom. Complex and intricate part geometries that were once considered challenging or impossible to produce are now within reach. Let your creativity soar as you explore new possibilities for innovative product designs.

SCALABILITY AND CONSISTENCY
Whether you require low-volume prototypes or high-volume production runs, Progressive Tool Stamping delivers scalability without compromising quality. The process ensures consistent results across each part, maintaining uniformity and meeting stringent industry standards.

Our high-speed progressive die and metal stamping services have been in business for over 79 years and Ward Manufacturing has NO debt. We have 32 total presses ranging from 10 tons to 330 tons. We have 26 conventional presses as well as 6 SERVO presses to meet your manufacturing needs. Our engineers have decades of experience as well as the latest CAD software to partner with our customers to help design the best progressive stamping die for your application. We also have a state-of-the-art tool room to build as well as maintain all of our dies in-house. With the combination of utilizing the newest press technologies in SERVO’s, having over 79 years of experience as well as 7 full-time toolmakers and 2 new apprentices in house as well as NO DEBT, we are able to be extremely competitive with both our tooling and our piece part pricing.
